Module 6: Navigating Conflict

Introduction

Conflict is inevitable when people work together toward a common goal. As a leader of leaders, you will regularly face situations requiring conflict resolution - both conflicts you experience personally and conflicts between those you lead. Learning to navigate conflict in a way that honors God and preserves relationships is essential for effective leadership. In this module we will focus on deepening your patience and developing your competency of navigating conflict.

Deepen Your Character: Patience

Leaders must be gentle when navigating conflict and bear with others' shortcomings

Patience in conflict means remaining calm under pressure, giving others time to process and grow, and choosing grace over harshness. Patient leaders seek understanding before seeking to be understood, and they work toward resolution rather than simply winning arguments.
