Read “Giving Constructive Feedback to Musicians” by Mike Harland and “Building a Culture of Growth” by Tom Lane, and answer the questions that follow.

What challenged you the most about giving feedback to team members?

What questions did this raise for you about your current feedback approach?

What aspect of giving feedback do you think will be your strength?

What growth area did the articles reveal to you?

What are 2 or 3 action steps you need to take to improve your feedback skills?

3. Practical Application

Observe an experienced leader giving feedback to team members. Journal your observations about their approach, tone, and the team's response. What made their feedback effective?

After discussing this module with your leader, practice giving constructive feedback to a team member (with your leader present). Journal your experience and the feedback you received below.
